Sundays 9 – 10 am GOOD NEWS is a gentle and reflective hour of Christian worship, prayer, hymns and music brought to you by the Good News team – David Edwards, Vic Hatzfeld, Jill Mills and Jonathan Webster

On the first Sunday each month at the later time of 10.30 am the Good News team brings you the CHAPEL SERVICE, live from St Peter’s Hospital, Chertsey.

Mid Morning Mix: Roger Manley . . . Alternate tracks from the 60s, 70s and 80s - 5th Sunday in the month, which there occasional is, the 90s/noughtys.

Charli and the request factory: 12 Noon -1pm . . . Charli Burden with a fun packed hour. Children’s requests from Oak and Ash wards and stories about topics like what are you most scared of and terrible foods you've experienced so people can get in touch with their experiences. With two songs back to back from the week's number one requested artist. What’s on this week in the local area and some entertainment news from the week .

 

Chantler’s Chest. Robert Chantler 1 -2pm . . . Featuring easy listening jazz and something classical together with easy listening sounds. Combined with an exclusive serialisation of "Letters from the Edge of Reality" -- a office-based comedy.

The Big Band Hour. 2-4pm . . . The magic of the big bands presented in an authoritative and entertaining style by John Charman

The Singer songwriters. 4pm-5pm Mark Alexander . . . The singer/songwriter show. The programme features a variety of music from the 50's to the present day by artists who write and perform their own songs as well as featuring some artists who perform songs written by great song writers.

The hits of yesteryear 5pm-7pm with Jon Andrews . . . . Relive the hits you remember from yesteryear featuring Who’s bag is it anyway? When Jon takes Items out of a carrier bag and asks you to name the celebrity from the clues given. Plus they are clues to a celebrity plus tracks from a featured album of the evening.

The Download Show 7pm -9pm with Chris Atkinson, Daniel Patching and Guests with the chart rundown at 7.30 and the Wey In at 8.30.

The End of the Weekend Show 9pm -11pm with Steve Chapman . . . Join Steve Chapman on Sunday evening when he presents “The 3 R's',( in which featured songs are heard in a different form) That’s Re-worked, Re-recorded or Remixed. Then there’s the featured artist each month, the Theme Tune Lucky Bag (with themes from radio, TV or film) and the Soft End of Sunday . If that’s not enough why not go “Under The Covers” with Steve?
