Mandy Morrow

Another good thing to come out of Wiltshire apart from Diana Dors and Rick Davies- (for those of you who don't know him, he is lead singer with Supertramp)-Is Mandy Morrow. Mandy has been a member of radio Wey since November 2006.

She packed her satchel 21 years ago and headed for the bright lights of London or was it the smoke? Anyway, she made it as far as Staines and has been here ever since!

Her first taste of radio was 9 years ago, when she was asked by a friend to record a play on a commercial London radio station, it was New years day and she was extremely hungover, but despite that, she says it was a blast!

Her day job involves long periods in a metal tube, 39'000 ft above sea level. (That’s an aircraft you know). When she is allowed off, she says she heads straight for music shops. Music being a passion. Her collection includes Chinese classical music and Argentinean Tango to name just two, but its not all obscure, she likes chart music as well!

Her weakness: A self confessed Eurovision fan! She has even been known to take the day off for it. Sad, but true! Mandy can be heard during weekdays when she is not showing people the emergency procedure!
