The Happy Hours from 7pm until 9pm are Radio Wey's welcome to the weekend! James Wright presents an upbeat mix of music and chat. With a look back at the week just gone, and at anything the Radio Wey team is getting up to over the weekend. Regular features include the Weekly Awards, the quirky quiz “Would You Rather”?, And the legendary Cheeseboard where we continue our quest to find the ultimate feel-good song (albeit one that you would normally never admit to liking). You're welcome to get in touch with the team about anything: we always have a topic of conversation that we'd love to hear from you about, and, of course, we are open for your requests, playing a full half hour of them back-to-back every week. Whatever you're getting up to over the weekend, make sure you start it with the Happy Hours with James Wright. Never knowingly glum!

Something for the weekend 9pm -11pm . . . Join Martin Clarke and let him explain his Six Pack. OK we’ll do it for you. It’s six tracks from a featured artist or band. You can send in your own suggestions for six packs too. The rest of the show consists of classic rock and pop tracks from the 70's & 80's with requests. I also tend to cover local weather for the weekend and Alan Dolby will be on hand with a “What's on guide” and some local news. With the occasional guest it’s most certainly Something for the weekend.
